Southern California Alcohol & Drug Recovery Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation and California Public Benefit Company. Our primary purpose is to provide a safe, secure and sober environment for men and women to recover from alcohol and drug addiction. We also provide a wide array of services to all participating in our program. Here are some of the benefits we offer:
- Weekly Food Supply
- Clothing
- Shelter
- One on One Counseling
|
- Employment Opportunities
- Anger Management Courses
- Parenting Courses
- DUI Classes
|
Many of our past and present residents have found that through the fellowship of men and women around them and a solid structure of 12-step meetings has formed a foundation in which to continue in everyday living.
These services require financial support to implement and maintain. SCADRF relies on public and private donations to make available the best possible assistance programs for recovering alcoholics and addicts.
SCADRF is continually expanding in our efforts to fulfill our commitment to our community. Each Raffle ticket will sponsor and support several men and women in our programs so that they can once again become productive and positive role models in our communities. A purchase of a single raffle ticket will support someone in our program for a full week. A purchase of four or more tickets will provide food, clothing, shelter, transportation, educational courses for an entire month to someone desperately in need.

“ I lived at the Village South for 10 months I was a man who was in jails for 12 years and on parole for 18 years. I feel the Village provided me with the means to be able to have a better life. I am now 3 years sober, have my own business, and have my entire family back in my life. Without the structure and guidelines this house has provided me I would still be on the streets taking advantage of everyone and everything ultimately resulting in yet another prison term. Today I am a real man with a business a wife and an amazing future ahead of me.”

“This house helped me build a firm foundation from the wreckage of my old behaviors.
The house in Mission Viejo is formed from a tight group of men who pull for each other to achieve a common goal. The house was my saving grace, I have been afflicted with alcoholism and drug addiction for nearly twenty years, this program saved my life.”

Contributions
The SCADRF greatly appreciates your generous support throughout the years. Thanks to supporters like you we were able to carry SCADRF into a prosperous new year. With your donations in last years raffle we were able to help more people than ever before. One of the major milestones last year was the ability for us to better improve our food program within our organization which in turn contributes too many other organizations as well. Some of the additional organizations we support are:
- The First Step House (Costa Mesa)
- Victory Outreach (Santa Ana, Anaheim, Long Beach)
- Mary’s Kitchen (Orange)
- First Southern Baptist Church (Buena Park)
- Old Towne Church (Tustin)

With your donations SCADRF was able to purchase another vehicle to aid in the distribution process for fresh rescue food programs. All of the programs listed support the less fortunate and our services give them the ability to provide much needed food to thousands of homeless and needy individuals and families in our community. Along with the fresh rescue program we have developed a relationship with the Community Action Partnership (CAP) located in Garden Grove. We routinely send residents from the foundation to the CAP Food Bank to volunteer our services. In addition SCADRF participates in the Annual Letter Carriers Food Drive each year, this is a one day event that brings over 370,000 pounds of much needed food to the food bank which can feed a countless number of people in need.

Not only has our food program greatly improved, we have also expanded our facilities to support over sixty men, women and adolescents recovering from alcoholism and drug addiction. With this rapid growth and expansion we need you help more than ever. Our goal this year is to continue in our expansion to support thousands of people afflicted with alcoholism and drug addiction. With your generous donations – we will be able to do just that!
